Welcome to the home page of Phil Psilos Photography.

I am a photographer with 18 years of professional and semi-professional experience. I specialize in digital event and location photography.

My interests center on locations, people, and skyscapes.

In 2006-2007, I will be traveling to write and photograph a book on the contemporary art of mystic and spiritual practice around the world. Visit me there at The Spiros Project website.

My home is in urban photojournalism: capturing moments of human inspiration in dramatic urban settings: demonstrations, rallies, events, parks, etc. I began working as a photographer for a small, weekly newspaper at age 14. Since then, I've branched out into location, advertising, portrait, and fine art black and white photography.

I work mainly in digital format, and am available for assignments requiring rapid turnaround. In many cases, digital images can be optimized and delivered the same day.
